Our Founders
Michael Scanlon
Co-Founder
Michael Scanlon is not only an avid director/cinematographer but also one of the co-founders of UnderGlass Productions. Through studying film at the University of Southampton, he has developed a keen interest in how societal issues are portrayed within screen media with his dissertation focusing upon the varying portrayals of queerness within modern media. Coupled with Michael’s insatiable passion for the art of visual storytelling, Michael has directed several theatre and film productions, most recently winning Best Director of a Short Play at his university’s Theatre Group.
Kat Fevyer
Co-Founder
Kat has been involved with theatre for most of her life and always finds herself asking when the next show is going to be. Currently studying English literature, she’s somewhat surrounded by storytelling. Kat’s love of understanding others and comprehending differing perspectives has naturally lead her through acting, writing and most significantly, directing. The next step of founding UnderGlass Productions felt like the natural next step to keep pushing boundaries and making new exciting art.
