What UnderGlass will do:

  • Facilitate the production of your script.
  • Attach an appropriate director to the script.
  • Allocate appropriate funding.
  • Give updates as to how production is going.

What you will do:

  • Allow UnderGlass Productions the right to create and produce a film/theatre production based on the script.

Executive Producers (EP)

What UnderGlass Will do:

  • Facilitate the production of your pitch.
  • Attach an appropriate director to the pitch.
  • Allocate appropriate funding.

What you will do:

  • Liaise between the director/production team and the company frequently with updates as to how the project is going.
  • The EP is permitted to express artistic opinions on the production BUT ultimately the decisions that are made are down to the discretion of the director.
  • The EP, alongside the director, allocates the production budget and liaises with UnderGlass Productions in case further funding is needed.

Directors

What UnderGlass will do:

  • We will handle scheduling and  administration between venues and locations.
  • Source rehearsal spaces.
  • Advertise the film/play on our platforms.
  • Organise auditions and audition spaces.
  • Finance the production up to an agreed upon amount.
  • For films UnderGlass will source appropriate film festivals and submit the final product to them. An agreement between UnderGlass Productions and the director of the film will be made as to which film festival is deemed appropriate.

What you will do:

  • Have open communication about the rehearsal processes and pre-production.
  • Give frequent updates to the development of the project.
  • Notify UnderGlass Productions if any issues arise.
  • Notify UnderGlass Productions of any large creative changes.
  • Have both yourself and members of production have regular check-ins with the HR department/individual show liaisons. 
  • If the production is not completed (for film, edited and screened, for theatre, at least one show) then the money that UnderGlass has invested must be reimbursed to the company out of the production team’s own pocket (it is expected that the director will pay the majority).
