Synopsis

Based on the works of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s ‘The Yellow Wallpaper’, Underglass Productions introduce a new short film: ‘Lying In Wait’. Roe has been taken into the countryside by her husband, John, for a a period of isolated rehabilitation. John believes a steady dose of medication and rest may hold the key to her recovery. But something is lurking in the depths of Roe’s bedroom. A repellent yellow, strangely faded by slow-turning sunlight, infecting every inch of their new home. It sits there. Hidden in plain sight. Lying in wait.
